Living Lands & Waters

The Mississippi River will be the focus of events hosted by renowned environmental group, Living Lands & Waters in Dubuque, Iowa on September 10, 2005. A community-based river cleanup will be hosted as a means to educate citizens of Dubuque about the issues confronting the health of the Mississippi River.
Volunteers of all ages will be needed to assist in the river cleanup taking place from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on September 10, 2005. Volunteers are asked to wear long pants and disposable shoes. Bottled water, lunch, life jackets, gloves, and bags will be provided to all volunteers.
