Whitewater Canyon Memories
Mike Muir, Group Treasurer

Whitewater Canyon was a special place for me many years ago. When I was in Boy Scouts, we used to summer camp in the canyon (45 years ago). There were a couple of cabins. We spent great times hiking the area, fishing, and floating the river. Lots of wildlife then. We had several instances with rattlers and foxes. The screams of the bobcats in the evening beat any scary story. I always wanted to go back there sometime and now I'll be able to. Thank you to all who contributed to establish the Whitewater preserve.
